XML, Python, Automation, ...

PostTue Dec 15, 2020 12:39 am

I am in the real estate media production bis and deal with a lot of repetitive tasks that I would like to automate in DR.

I would like to start a discussion on automation using DR.

One option that I think of is to create an XML and use it load projects into DR and then tweak and export.

Another option I would like to experiment with is to create Python scripts to automate my video creation workflow. Load the media, apply transitions, apply motion (zoom in/out, pan),...

Anyone doing the above?
Share success stories?
Share resources on docs to the XML structure and or API docs for Python scripts?

I have found couple YouTube videos on the Python API topic but not much more.

Thank you in advance.
