Adjustment clip "loses" attributes in Power Bin

PostMon Dec 28, 2020 3:56 pm

Hi there,

I created a zoom transition as an adjustment clip in Fusion (a few transform keyframes, adjusted splines and motion blur, over 8 frames). So that I don't have to tinker them every time, I put them in the Powerbin. However, all settings will then disappear. That means: If I then drag the adjustment clip from the power bin back into the timeline, it is practically empty. All adjustments gone .. Who has an idea what can help?

Hmmm.

I thought only actual media located on a hard drive could be stored in a Power Bin.

It's also my understanding that anything in a Power Bin has to first be dragged into a regular bin before use.

Those ideas help at all?
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.

When you drag an adjustment clip from the effects panel the time starts at 90000 in fusion

If you drag an adjustment clip from the media pool the time starts at 0. All the effects are there but they are not visible because they start at 90000

Workaround:

1. Drag the adjustment clip from the effects panel to the timeline
2. Drag the adjustment clip from the timeline to the media pool and delete it from the timeline
3. Drag the adjustment clip from the media pool to the timeline and add all the effects/animations there
4. At the end, add the adustment clip to the power bin and it should work as intended.
