I'm a new user to the Davinci 17 and am having an issue with my fusion nodes.
I currently have 7 merge nodes inline with a box in each. [input]--[merge]--[merge]--[merge]--[merge]--[merge]--[merge]--[merge]---[output]
while I am on the fusion page I can see my boxes show up and disappear as i scrub through the timeline (or frames). But when I go back to the edit page my boxes only show up until about the 5th node and the remaining ones do not show at all. but when I go back to the fusion page I can see my adjustments fine.
also, when I'm at the point where a box should be on the edit page, if I then click on the fusion page then ALL my nodes are gone. it just shows [input]-------------[output] and none of my merges show at all. BUT if i move my playhead / timeline back to where like merge 4 is, then go back to the fusion page, then it shows all my nodes again. (its weird..).
i've tried restarting DR17 and saving / reopening the file but it still does the same thing. Any help would be appreciated. thank you!
It depends on how you set it up. Most common is probably just placing the playhead over a clip and moving to the Fusion page. In that case, it's only for that clip.
My Biases:
You NEED training. You NEED a desktop. You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.

Which I think means for the OP that when that clip ends, his Fusion comp will also end, even if there is more Fusion animation yet to happen. Lengthen the clip in Edit to allow the Fusion comp to play out fully. (I think it's that simple.)
