DR Preview Stutters

Hi,

whenever I preview my edit (with effects mainly) I get quite a bad stutter. It's less noticeable in the "cut" window, but it's still there.

Are my specs too low?

Ryzen 5 2600X
GTX 1660 Gaming X 6GB
16GB DDR4 2666Mhz

I found that closing the media pool window improved playback on the edit page. Media Pool, Cut, and Color all played fine with the same file.
