Flickering Issue

When I was editing video, as soon as I added a picture to it, the whole footage started flickering. It doesn't get recovered even if I deleted the photo. The whole work was messed and couldn't recover it. I have tested again with small video and photo and same thing happened.

Can anyone help me with this?

I am using HP envy laptop with AMD CPU(7 4700U) and integrated AMD GPU.

Which version of Resolve and what were the resolutions of the files and timeline.

it's version 17 and resolution of the video is 1080. I am not sure about timeline resolution. How can I check it? I thought that it just follows video resolution.

is the photo the same resolution? what format?
as it seems to go bad when you added that i would start there.

Thanks. Photo was PNG or JPG and the resolution was a pretty random since I have tested a couple times. All have the same issue. This is a laptop and is connected to a 2K monitor. I also have another desktop and I don't have that issue on desktop. It could be a specific issue to this laptop but my laptop is a relatively new model and I don't think I should have this issue.

Oh btw, the same thing happen when I added text.

I just found another posting that has the exact same problem as me. Not sure if it's resolved yet.

No update on this one? I need to switch my laptop to intel one or need to switch to premier pro.
