[SUPER BUG] Export timeline

PostSat Mar 06, 2021 1:28 am

Why the program ADDs 15 frames to my individuals clips, when it export!

As I see it there is NO extra handles in the options.

Well, I am assuming, that when I export a individual clip, it DOESN'T add 15 extra frames without me telling it to do it! And I see it as a BUG or bad programming. But prove me wrong, that this is what people expect :)

This is in the manual -
Add X frame handles: (When rendering Individual Clips) Lets you specify front and
rear handles to be output in frames. This is particularly useful in round trips, when
the finishing editor might want additional handles with which to roll edit points or add
transitions while fine-tuning the graded edit.

and since I DIDN'T add extra frames and it says ZERO - then it IS a bug.

I couldn't duplicate this in Studio 17.1 b10 for Windows. The results were as expected.

But you are not referring to Media Management, are you?
That will add frames to GOP media up to the next I-frame for good reason.
My disaster protection: export a .drp file to a physically separated storage regularly.

I am in DELIVER page, making export individual clips... but it is NOT working, so I have made it manually, but it takes 500% more time :D

I hope you didn't use "Bypass re-encode when possible".

it is on by default, what has that to do with precisely frame cutting?

It'll extend to the next I-frame to avoid recompression.

But when making a in/out point, or selection "single clip" there is absolut no problems. I am not sure that is the real problem. But now I have to test what it is.

Well, try by switching that option off or using a non-GOP codec.

Please come back to your premiere. We understand that you're something like a troll, but since we're a great community we try to help to solve issue where issue there isn't. But at this point, it's better to you to come back to your loving premiere using your loving lumetri panel to do color grading :)

Yeah I AM THE TROLL!!! jesus!!!

no color grading is the ONLY working thing, that is 1000x better than premiere pro. But maybe in version 25 of Davinci, it will be just as simple and PRECISELY to edit in Davinci...

You ALL win, I am out of here!
