Thrumming and clipping in Fairlight...but comes out fine!

PostTue Mar 09, 2021 9:08 pm

Hi all,
I'm having a strange issue. I got the Rode Wireless Go microphone today and hooked it/them up to my PC.

When in resolve, there is a thrumming/interference sound and when I record, I hear horrible audio clipping. But the recording itself comes out fine (great sound quality!). I only hear this in Fairlight. In Cut, it sounds great, and when rendered it sounds great.

Any ideas? This is an annoyance, I can work with it (I mute the record track when recording anyway), but it is very annoying.

Hi,
I'm not going to upgrade (again). I can't stand the way the new interface works. I hate holding down CTRL to scroll the timeline (but I can live with that), and I absolutely can't stand that when I delete recorded audio clips in Fairlight, it deletes or does something (shortens them? moves them?) to the adjacent video clips.

Are you guys no longer supporting 16 at all?

As an FYI, not necessary on the Edit page.
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.
