Dongle activation licence

Hi,
I bought DaVinci Resolve Studio 15 with a dongle some time ago and now after installing the latest version 17.1 the dongle doesn't seem to be recognized anymore. I only access the free parts of the software.

An update is requested, is this correct?

Are you sure you installed the Studio and not the free version?

Yes I have downloaded the free version on the web site. Is there another link where I can found the Studio version ?

Yes. Scroll on the support page until you see Studio. The dongle (or the software key) does not convert the free version to Studio.

Thank you so much for this. I got my copy of Davinci Resolve 16 Studio with the Speed Editor from Adorama yesterday and was baffled about how to upgrade until I read your post. Seriously. Thank you.
