Using UltraStudio 4K Mini with Resolve

First time newbie post here. I have a new UltraStudio 4K Mini and I'm using Resolve on my M1 Mac connected via Thunderbolt and was assuming I could use this to drive my Flanders DM170 color reference monitor from Resolve. It's not intuitive how to do that in the Desktop Video Setup and Resolve doesn't see it as a monitor so before I research too far I was hoping someone could confirm this is true. I have the Desktop Video Set-up detecting the UltraStudio (after going through all the kernel extensions drama) but not sure how to go from there.
