[bug] Mid tone offset not copied in v4.0 dolby

PostThu Mar 11, 2021 1:49 am

More often than not copy and paste a memory either with a middle click on a thumbnail or directly copy a memory and paste a memory does not copy the mid tone offset parameter and that is clearly bad..

Not sure why some times it does and some times it does not.

Hi Walter - Is this specific to a project for you? Can you share one?

It is from work, not sure if i can share, but I’m going thru the whole project shot by shot and the MTF is not copied (is 0 when it should be 0.037).....

There are different projects in the database and each project exhibit the same issue.

Replication

I made a freesh project
New timeline
Set dolby 4.0 in preference
Put a ramp and make a compound clip, put two of them in
On the first clip, analyze, change the lift to max and mid tone offset to max
Go to next clip
Center click on first, all parameters are copied EXCEPT the MTO.

This is on Linux 16.2.5(EXP).015

This affect all dolby 4.0 shows (small stuff like Mandalorian lol....)
