Print effects in Fairlight while recording Voiceovers.

PostSun Mar 14, 2021 11:57 am

I am having trouble finding info on this. I plug my USB Mic directly into my PC.

I would like to add a little compression and EQ while recording voiceovers in Fairlight. Is this possible?

Fairlight has a good compressor and you can add plugins for more treats.

I'm thinking even if you can, you shouldn't, as it'll be baked in and unchangeable.

You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.
