Alpha issue on Compound Clips

PostSat Mar 13, 2021 7:00 pm

I have few compound clips in a fusion composition and they work great, but if I close DR and go back in, the alpha fails and all my compounds have the black background. I can replace all the MediaIns and it works again, but it's time consuming to have to keep doing this.

Based on another post, I tried rolling back from 17.1 to 17, but I'm still having the issue. Any ideas on a workaround?

Thank you

I think my approach would be to eliminate the use of Compound Clips. Use the original elements instead.
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.

The problem is the clips are each a bird flapping its wings, so to have 6 birds for 30 seconds, I'd have to hand stitch and then maintain 360 keyframes. Reconnecting the MediaIns is faster than that at this stage.

Thanks for the idea though. I appreciate your input.
