Preview/Video Playback issues after Update to 17.1

After updating from 17.0 to 17.1, I have unfortunately encountered some issues with video playback and preview of the Clips, both of which are not functioning at all. The Previews as well as the media player just display gray. There were no issues under 17.0.

De- and reinstalling of Resolve itself as well as the graphics card driver did not help.

I'd be really grateful for some advice.

Also having playback issues after upgrading to 17.1 Studio. Same project/files I was using in 17 beta build 9 w/o issues.
Tried uninstall/reinstall using Revo (frequently fixes issues) but issue remains.
Reverting back to beta for now.

I am also having huge problems with Playback, but not sure if it is the update to 17.1 or the Windows Update that has rolled out these days

In my case "disabling Hardware Acceleration" seems to be a fix for the problem

Uninstalled 17.1, installed 17.0 - no longer having playback issues.
