Is anyone having problems with the GPU memory full with the latest version of 17.1 ?

I have a light fusion composite and it's just crashing every 15 min or giving me the GPU is full error. Resolve has become completely unusable.

Using an AMD Ryzen 9, 64gb of ram and an RTX 2080 Ti with the latest driver installed. I have tried to roll back the driver but it's still crashing.

Also, tried to render out the project to my ssd and it's over 5 hours which is ridiculous for a 25 min 1080p video with green screen.

Any ideas?

I'm of the opinion that there is a bug in Resolve related to nVidia GPUs that will require a fix from BMD.

Unfortunately, I've seen no evidence that they agree with me on that.

The only thing I've been able to do is restart Resolve when it happens, and hope I can get through the work before it happens again.

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.

Three days ago I have also updated to this patch. Since than I also get "gpu mem full", even tho before I did not have those problems with same composition that I use from presentation to presentation for year and a half now. My PC spec's are quite lower than yours, but I firmly believe that aint the cause of problem.

I'm was editing 22 presentations for 5 hours or so... They all use the same simple fusion composition. After 16th or something, I started getting the error more often. Soon after that I decided to restart PC and it seems that it helped - I have just finished without a single error after PC restart.

Also, for 2-3 weeks now, according to GeForce experience, there is an nvidia game driver update option, but nothing for studio.
