Purchased DR 17 Studio Install file says DR 16

I purchased Davinci Resolve 17 Studio bundled with Speed Editor.

The Blackmagic box clearly says Davinci Resolve 17 Studio.

The SD card with software and manual windows folder has a file called Davinci_Resolve_Studio_16.0_Windows.exe dated 8/21/2019.

Davinci_Resolve_Manual.pdf is also dated 8/21/2019 and is for DR Studio 16.

Please explain this discrepancy and how do I Install DR 17 Studio and find the manual?

Also have the dongle.

The license will work for v17, it’s available from the BMD support web site I list at the top of the forum for v17.1 release.
The new features guide and v16 manual is in the installer until the v17 manual is ready.

Thank you, Peter. I need a little clarification of how to get started with the install. I have not installed or used any version of DR up until now.

Do I need to install the version of DRS 16 on the SD card and then update to 17.1?

Or can I download the 17.1 Update and install that.

Is the panel shown in my uploaded DRS 171 UPdate1.PNG the correct location for accessing the 17.1 upgrade?

The form on DRS 171 Update 2.PNG asks for serial number in order to download and register. Is it correct that this is the 13 digit serial number on the back of the box from BMD?

Go directly to 17.1, and yes that is the correct link for Studio
The serial number is on the packaging label.
