We are looking to develop a 120hz/fps workflow for realtime colour grading of content for high frame rate screen in a film environment. I see that the BM Decklink 8k pro has the ability to capture at 120hz. My question is.
Can davinci capture / process then output at 120hz in realtime?
Timeline settings in v16 only allow for timelines up to 60fps, but does this effect the output refresh rate of the capture card?

I don't think so...there are monitors, though...what's the point of 240 fps in media playback anyway (apart from the theoretically visible motion blur minimization compared to 120 fps)? I'm certain 240 fps looks as smooth to human eye as 120 (dare I say 60)?

I personally have 60 Hz, 120 Hz, 144 Hz, and 240 Hz monitors. I can assure you that 240 FPS looks WAY better than 60 FPS or even 120 FPS. Obviously the difference is absolutely massive for something like gaming, but media playback of 120 FPS or 240 FPS content is still much better - and easily noticeable - compared to 60 FPS.
