Poor Browser skills in DaVinci

Can you help me understand why:

1. We can see no color line for used parts of clip on timeline inside Filmstrip on Edit page and inside Clip thumbnail on Cut page? (figure 1)

2. Clip in Thumbnail View on Edit page has no Filmstrip? (figure 2)

3. Color of line for used parts of clip on timeline inside thumbnail has the same color like a line color of selected clip? Why can't it be green, for example? (figure 3)

4. Scrubbing without push the mouse button inside thumbnail it is not gang with left preview window on Edit page?

5. List View has no Thumbnail column so we can see thumbnails in List Views too?

1: You wouldn't have them in the Timeline as it is usually just the part of the clip that has been used,
hence they are shown in the clips in the Media Pool. True they don't appear in the thumbnails on the
Cut page.

2: Click on the Timeline View menu and select Film Strip View which is apparent if you zoom in.

4: Just moving the mouse curser across a thumbnail in the Media Pool will scrub the clip in the Preview
window on the Edit page.

5: I would take that to be a normal way of doing things. It is a list view after all. For instance, if you
select list view in the Pictures folder in Windows no thumbnail is displayed.

We need to see here which parts of clip are usage in the timeline similar like on figure 3.

I'm talk about Filmstrip in Browser. Filmstrip in Browser has a different purpose than Filmstrip view on timeline.

It would be good if it worked that way, but it doesn't work that way.

It is not normal in NLEs. Avid, Final Cut Pro 7 (maybe Premiere - I don't know) can view thumbnails in List view and it is very practical.

Oh yes! No. 4 is my fault. It works well.
But No. 5? I don't know how to display thumbnails in List View? Maybe it is only in DVR 17 not in DVR 16.

Avid, Final Cut Pro 7 (maybe Premiere - I don't know) can view thumbnails in List view and it is very practical.

I gotta say, I keep my GUI displays relatively dim, and I have a very hard time distinguishing which Node is currently selected in the Node window. I think it's currently a 1-pixel orange outline, and I would love a 2-pixel outline. I have zero problems seeing which thumbnail is highlighted in the timeline, and I think that's like a 5-pixel orange outline, so I know it can be done.
