Help! I am trying to use Fusion for a timer and box score in soccer videos. The box score will be on the screen usually for about an hour and twenty minutes (or about 99%) of the videos, so, not just a quick title animation. I have tried a Text+ node as well for this and it fails just as badly, maybe worse. I have now decided to pre-render in photoshop the background graphics for the box score, and only have the timer and the actual scores be editable, but I am still unable to complete a render with this.
As an example, I have uploaded a project with *only* the Text 3D timer comp in a 59.94fps 1080p timeline. The length is 90 minutes. No video clips or anything else. Rendering will start off moderately fast, about 60fps, but gradually slow down after several hours to where it tells me there is well over a day left to render at around the 17 minute mark in the video. I hope I am making sense here.
I have attached the DR project, and also uploaded to the Google Drive link below. It is not cropped to just the time, but even doing that does not help.

In the timeline it stutters somewhat with freezes every once in a while. Right now the Render3D is set on Software Renderer, but it seems worse with Open GL.
Working with just videos and transitions without fusion effects, I can render a 1 1/4 hour video in about 19 minutes. Adding fusion effects like the counter above, the performance dies completely.
My system specs:
- SOFTWARE: Davinci Resolve Studio 17.1
- HARDWARE: Blackmagic Speed Editor (loving this thing!)
- CPU: 5900x non-OC
- GPU: RTX 3080, 10 gig vram, NVIDIA Standard 461.40 drivers
- RAM: 32 gig system memory
- STORAGE (main): Samsung 980 pro SSD, 1TB system drive.
- STORAGE (working): Intel 660P SSD, 2TB working drive for Davinci Resolve
- OS: Windows 10
Note: I have had this system for just about a week. It was built by Puget Systems and I have only barely installed software on it (Davinci Resolve, Android Studio, Photoshop, and Fortnite being the big ones). This is my first time using Studio. I was using the Davinci Resolve (free) Beta 17.2 on my old system, and have for about 2 years now.
If I can provide any other info please ask. I have searched the forum and other places online and have not gotten answers that help. This seems so simple, and it seems like my system should be chewing through this. I was actually trying to just pre-render the time to re-import as a video track, but I cannot even get this to render. I am just getting into Fusion and absolutely LOVE it, but its performance so far is making it completely unusable for me.
