Drop In Title Animation Error

PostThu Mar 25, 2021 6:44 pm

The Fusion title "Drop In" has this weird issue where the last two characters are incorrectly displayed, instead of dropping in as they should, they are already there.

The only way to fix this is to add more characters at the end which ruins alignment. Restarting my PC nor the application helped. My drivers are up to date, so is Davinci, this is frankly an incredibly disappointing issue to have.

System:
Windows 10 20H2 19042.867
Ryzen Threadripper 1920x
GTX 1080 (27.21.14.6192)
32Gb RAM

I can't duplicate this in Studio 17.1 for Windows. Seems to be working normally for me.
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.

Did you create a multi-line text in the Titles text box like in my example image below? If you add a second or third line it creates an issue with the Follower Modifier added to the text and causes those letters to stay on screen.

Ahh, now I see it. That third line throws things off. (That wasn't mentioned originally.)

Is there a proper fix for it? Right now my solution is to add two more lines and then realign it manually.

You can try changing the "Range" from All Characters to Character Range.

Thank you, this is a much better fix, now I know for future projects how to actually fix it.
