Playback in Fairlight

Hi,

I'm wondering whether anyone else has run into this problem. While using fairlight the video playback is basically unusable. Even while using proxies or optimised media the playback is incredibly laggy. Elsewhere the playback is perfect but on the fairlight page it's useless. Any suggestions?

Fairlight will sacrifice video frames in order to keep audio playback perfect. Might that be true here?

Its likely your system in its current config can not play in real time. Check the color page too.
