It would be good to have more information about your machine, processor? Ram? OS?
In my opinion, Hackintosh is not the best way to use DVR on your machine, I understand it fo software working only on macOs (FCPX, Logic or Millumin) but for software working on both, I would prefer a dual boot.

Thanks for your answer. I have a GB Z390 aorus ultra MB, an i7 9700k CPU, 32 Go 3200Mhz RAM, I have a video cache 970 Evo NVMe ssd and a WD blue 1Go SSD as working drive for video (storage on a HDD). I can boot on windows 10 Pro, Big Sur or UbuntuStudio 20.10 (but I'm giving up in Linux, to much job to have something working, if you want to work deep on audio, you need that distribution, for video another one, etc.). I have to admit that I prefere to work on OSX desktop than windows desktop... The computer is working great on all those 3 OS. The thing is that I need retiming (I'm getting my footages out of a Ninja V from a GH5). I don't do 0.1 x retiming but as the GH5 does high frame rate only in FHD 8 bit I have to retime 60 fps 4k footage in 24 fps timeline at 50% or 25%). And for the sound job (maxmsp/jitter mainly, sometimes puredata), I love to work on OSX for that.
I'm trying speedwarp on windows right now and for shure the fans of the 2 580RX are far more quiet on windows than they are on OSX. It needs about 40 min to retime a 20 sec 4K 10bits clip...
