DR Studio 17.1.1 Sound disappears in sync linked clips

I linked/synced an audio track to the vid/audio track in Media. I mute the camera audio and use the linked audio. Checking Unmuting shows the muted audio works, but the linked audio does not, even though my volumes are all up and live and inspector shows it turned up. Is this a bug, or am I doing something wrong? (I'm New to DR Studio. But I did successfully render a video in 17.1.1 studio with no problems with sound so this seems intermittent?)

I have been using DR since 16.3 but only just purchased Studio.

Can you describe how you synced the audio and video?

In the media pool list view, there is an option to right click the header and choose a synced audio (or similar) column. Does that show the right clip? When you right click the clip in the media pool and choose show synced clip (or similar wording - I'm not near a workstation), does it go to the right media pool audio? Does resyncing the clip and the audio work?

If not, can you link an exported DRP example for us to examine? If you're worried about access, you can duplicate the project, delete all but the synced clip and its audio and then export that - so only that example is visible.

Thank you so much for your response. I synced the clips via the option in the media tab. After a few days I started the project all over from the beginning and the problem never recurred, so I have moved on. It may be that somehow the file I was working on was corrupted somehow. I was using the speed editor in combination with the cut page (which I am still trying to grok). Hopefully no one else is experiencing this and it was a one time glitch.
