Fusion Comps Rendering Proxy Files

PostSun Mar 28, 2021 4:34 pm

Hello all, I've started playing around with learning to use Fusion more, I have run into an issue however, it may be a simple fix but I cannot seem to come across how to resolve (no pun intended) this issue.

I am using h.265 footage from my drone, My system can handle this relatively easily, however within fusion things get slower so I use Proxy files created within resolve. This makes things much easier to work with however I noticed that when I go into fusion to work on a clip, while proxies are enabled, the fusion comp bakes in the proxy file instead of reverting to the original when rendering the file. The rest of video gets rendered out with the original footage as intended, however not the fusion comps.

TL;DR Fusion is not reverting to original files when rendering, and is rendering out using the proxy files.

Is there a setting I need to change, so this doesn't happen? Am I forced to have proxy files off before going into fusion and doing the work? Or is this simply a bug that needs addressing?

I have a video uploaded to YouTube showing this issue, if that's helpful to see/allowed to post let me know and I can link it. Thanks in advance.
