sdi-hdmi adapter

PostWed Aug 28, 2013 1:20 am

Can anyone recommend a good adapter to get for a HDMI monitor to SDI-3G?

Thanks for all the help. :)

I bought one of these and tested it with the BMCC and a Samsung HDTV (I don't have a field
monitor yet). Despite the price, it works! Power is drawn via USB, so you'd need an adapter for your battery.

Look also on BM website.

They offer some.

There are a lot of them but only you know how to choose.

may not be the most welcome response "but" in the long term you're going to be happier replacing your existing monitor (than hoping there is some cheap/magic fix . . . because there isn't).
What I mean is, you'd probably regret cobbling something together to save money which isn't going to give you the same things you'd get with a value priced (but brand recognized) SDI capable monitor.

Peace.

I went with the Atomos Connect S2H, for use with a SmallHD DP6. It works.
