I would love to keep this conversation going. I'm trying to run and control (start stop, white balance, color correction, focus, zoom) three cameras completely wirelessly with this equipment all connected by cat 6 to netgear wireless router not connected to internet:
atem mini extreme
PC laptop running middle things software
router connects wirelessly to
apc-r mini
bolted on to ronin djirs4 pro
which connects via blue tooth to
bmpcc4k with a panasonic vario 45-175 zoom
and the camera is connected via hdmi to a teradek ace 750 zero latency transmitter
which transmits back to the atem mini extreme
So far I can control all of the above wirelessly with either the middle things sofware or the atem software EXCEPT for the zoom, though I think it is supposed to control zoom as well (with the internal power zoom, hoping not to rely on a wheel.)
I also am awaiting on the middle things middle remote to come back into stock, which will be the last piece of the puzzle.
I've been researching this for months and as far as I can tell this will be the best way to do this.
I record and livestream live conferences, not fast moving events.
Hopeing others are interested in this,
Specifically for now: how do you control zoom with software noted above?
thanks
James
