Resolve wont open - Mac Mini M1

I've been using Resolve for a few months now, on a basic M1 Mac mini, with no issues. Today after using it for a few hours it just wouldn't open. Not doing anything in the dock for a few seconds then bringing up a "quit unexpectedly" message.

I was probably using the one before the latest version, but I've uninstalled that one and reinstalled the current version (17.1. 1) three times now, restarting my Mac numerous times too, with the problem remaining.

I've tried a few other things including PS, LR and Spotify, to check if it's a major computer issue, and all running fine.

I was learning new things everyday with Resolve, so it's frustrating I can't work on it today!

I've even reinstalled my OS (keeping what was on my HD), on the tiny chance I deleted something when I run some HD cleaning software earlier but no luck. Still doesn't open at all.

Anyone any ideas?

I've tried a clean install but there's two files still showing from a terminal search that aren't there when I look for them. I don't need to get rid of the crash report as that's unconnected but the other two need to go!

A normal search also brings up two files - zero bytes "DaVinci Resolve" and "DaVinci Control Panels Set Up", both white with the top right corners turned. They just say application when I check their properties. Neither can be deleted.

I've no idea if getting rid of them will help when I download it again. I got rid of a lot files and did try to see if it worked but still nothing happening.

It took me ages but managed to finally get rid of all the files, so was able to get a clean install.
Looks to be fine. I've just got to do all my settings again.

And don't use HD cleaning software from now on... Lol
