Why my DNG files are green

PostThu Apr 22, 2021 2:50 am

Hi,
I have about 200 RAW/DNG files from my Drone that I can open in Photoshop. When I put the sequence (or only importing one) in Resolve, the preview doesn't work and the timeline thumnail for the track where I put the file on is only a GREEN still. I haven't found no explanation for this anywhere.

Note that if I take the COMPRESSED/JPG sequence that is created on my Drone at the same time than the RAW/DNG, it works.

Thanks

It might be that your GPU is not powerful enough.

You should post your hardware settings.

Yes, please post your hardware. GPU in particular, and the resolution of your drone sequences.
I can work just fine with DNG sequences out of my Mavic Air2.
My disaster protection: export a .drp file to a physically separated storage regularly.

And a couple sample files would rule out your machine vs resolve itself
Davinci Resolve Studio 20 build 49, Windows 11, Ultra 7 265k, Nvidia 5070 TI, 576.80 Studio
