Trying to edit in a higher resolution: 2704x1520

PostWed Apr 28, 2021 5:39 pm

My new GoPro 9 has all sorts of high resolution settings. Some really fill up the micro-SD card quickly. I had been working in 1920x1080 @ 30. I almost have gotten good at this levvel. I want to try the cool new higher setups.

I don't see where I can specific that the Render setup can do 2704x1520
I also don't see how to have it render at 59.9 or 60 FPS.

Is this possible? Is there a setting I need?

This is Resolve 17 free version if that makes a difference.
Thanks

When you import the first clip with that resolution into a new timelime you will get a prompt asking if you wish to change the settings. Tell Resolve to do so.
If you already have that resolution footage in a 1080 timeline you can do the following.
In the Master Project settings change the timeline resolution to 2704 x 1520.
Scroll the Timeline Resolution box up to reveal Custom, then set your resolution below it as I've shown here. This setting will now appear in the Deliver page. You will then be able to render at this resolution.
