Resolve is crawling

I can't figure out why but the performance of Resolve right now is so slow. I can't get real-time playback on anything. The interface is slow. Just clicking on menu options there is a delay. My computer usually powers through anything I throw at it.

I did an uninstall and reinstall but I am getting the same performance issues. I double checked that my GPU is selected so I am not sure what is causing the performance hit all of a sudden, out of the blue.

Anyone else experiencing this right now?

oh, i opened Premiere for the first time in years to knock out a quick project and the same media plays flawlessly there.

I’d start by doing a clean install of the current studio GPU driver for that GPU.

Thanks Peter, I tried that and got the same result.
I tried the latest gamer driver and it seems to be working fine now. Weird.

I take that back. I opened another project and Resolve it struggling to playback any file I throw at it.

I think I figured out what is going on... Seems like it is the Speed Editor.
When I have it connected to my laptop while away and get home and it automatically is trying to connect to my desktop but can't there is this endless loop in bluetooth settings of it trying to connect.

Once I unpair it from both PCs then re-pair it to my desktop Resolve's performance comes back.

Weird or nah?
