Balance GPU and CPU load while rendering

PostSun May 02, 2021 5:02 am

Hello,
Does anyone know of any settings (in the free version) that will help balance CPU and GPU load while rendering? Whenever I render, my CPU is at 100% and my GPU is at 0%.

Get Studio if you have a PC. Your CPU is busy decoding H.264 or H.265. Or transcode to a lighter codec.
My disaster protection: export a .drp file to a physically separated storage regularly.

Here I go again: Windows GPU global performance monitor doesn't reflect compute usage, just 3D and video encode/decode. You need to select the compute graph manually too find out how much GPU is really used for pixel processing.
