uploading to frame IO

resolve 17.1.1build9 - window

in the delivery page it doesn't give me anymore the upload statistic, and I dont know if it is actually loading or taking a sweet nap....

It also a 50/50 failing rate in uploading...

Walter, I'm probably the most paranoid guy you know, but what I do is I always check the exported file in multiple places just to make sure there aren't any unexpected problems prior to uploading to Frame.io. That way, there's no surprises for me. I can upload the file in the background via a web browser while continuing to work in Resolve, so if anything, it helps me be more productive, since I can go on to another reel or another project.

Of course, I agree if they offer a feature, it should "just work."

It's less than ideal but you can use Task Manager in Windows or Monitor in macOS/Linux to see if an upload is happening. Of course, a third party tool won't be able to give any progress report.

You can always upload a file to Frame.io manually and then link to the desired timeline via RMB and Link to Frame.io Media.

I’m aware of that, as Marc said, if you implement a function it should just work.
