Hi there! I am new to Davinci Resolve. I have installed Resolve 17 (the free version) but can't launch the program. I get a message that says:
The procedure entry point clGetExtensionFunctionAddressForPlatform could not be located in the dynamic link library C:\Program Files\Blackmagic Design\Davinci Resolve\gpudetect.dill.
Do I have to have an earlier version of Resolve already on my computer to update from? Anyone who could help, I would appreciate it very much!

Thanks Mike and Charles. Yes I am running on Windows 10, but I think, as you both suggested, that my computer is not meeting the recommended specs for Resolve. Doh! Thanks for pointing me in the right direction guys.
