Please help; Stereo 3D Sync / DNG Sequences

Please help. I'm trying to setup a workflow for a S3D project in Studio 17 on Mac.

The shots come in DNG image sequences 4112x3008 and are placed in clip folders and then in Left and Right folders.
I can't stereo 3D sync the DNGs, but it works fine with mov. and R3D footage.

Does anyone knows if 3D sync works with DNG image sequences?

The only way to import them as S3D is to click each shot individually for left and right folder.

I just tested, dng works for me in 17.2, Mac. to make S3D clips.

I tested with the same dng clip, made a dup in a second source folder. dragged each to a separate bin, used the S3D sync feature ..

thanks for checking.

I have upgraded from 17.1 to 17.2, but it's still the same. I can 3D sync an individual clip from an image sequences and this works fine.
But multiple folders with multiple scenes don't work. When working with clips instead, it works fine and does multiple scenes. Everything that's in the selected left or right eye folder.

I'd like to avoid to sync every clip individually, which is very time consuming and a big source for errors.

Have you had just one single clip for your test or multiple?
