How to Stop Clips from Panning Horizontally

PostSun May 23, 2021 11:58 pm

Hi. I am going through THe beginner's PDF from the training section of the website:the Cooking Show. I just noticed a few clips have started panning horizontally a little as they play and stop panning part way through the clip. I am following the book and don't think I set anything to do that. Is there a way to stop it from panning?

Thank you

I'm thinking you must have hit something you shouldn't have.
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.

Select the clip, and in the Inspector, check the X Transform for stray keyframes set (if the little keyframe diamond has arrows to either side, there are set keyframes). You can delete all keyframes by clicking the counter-clockwise arrow button or by stepping through each keyframe and deleting those you don't want by clicking the orange diamond.

Check the dynamic zoom settings as well.
