PostTue May 25, 2021 4:23 am

Hello, I recently updated my bmpcc4k to the newest update 7.3. I exported my footage 4kDCI 8:1 BRAW to my computer and I was not able to import this footage to Davinci resolve 16. I just don't recognize the footage, I try all the different ways to import footage to DaVinci, but nothing works. anybody got any advice? Thanks.

Use DR 17.2
Davinci Resolve Studio 20 build 49, Windows 11, Ultra 7 265k, Nvidia 5070 TI, 576.80 Studio

Same here. Would have been nice if they had warned users that versions 16 will not load Gen 5.
I'm still on Win7 with the Studio version 16.2.8. which runs really well.
Don't tell me to update my computer but I suppose that is the only solution.
A work around would be nice BM.
Anyone running 17 on a Win 7 machine????

I agree, some communication was needed from Blackmagic Design to explain to user what each Firmware Version update means for users (-> update DaVinci Resolve as well as BRAW Player, official PrPro plugin and BRAW Studio plugin for Adobe CC)

That's also what we said here viewtopic.php?f=2&t=132642
BRAW Studio FREE and Premium importer plugins for Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, with a brand new Desktop .BRAW Player and Color Grader, as well as an automatic White Balance Color Picker tool
