Speed Editor Version of Resolve Studio Version (Dongle)

I already own Resolve Studio and waited for 4 months for the Speed Editor. Of course it came with another license for the paid Studio version.

However, it marked Version 16 (yes, I know it will update to 17.2) but it also marked DONGLE! Is there both a Dongle version in the shrink wrapped package and an Activation Code for non dongle use?

I want to give it to a friend and wonder if it will work as a Non-Dongle version?

You have to choose one or the other when buying. The dongle version doesn't come with an activation code.

Software is the same, speed editor works on both, just activated differently.
