Fusion blackens out video

I am using Davinci Resolve 17 and whenever I use the fusion mode it blackens out the video image even when I insert it as a separate element at the end of the timeline. Also, when I remove that element or use the undo key it still leaves the video blackened out. I have tried to resolve this using many different methods but the result is always the same. Please help!

Can I check if it is a specific tool from the effects library that causes the viewer to go black? Can I check if right clicking the clip thumbnail (under the Clips area) and resetting the composition gets the veiwer working again?

Can you pass on a sample project? It can just be a simple Untitled project with just that comp pasted in. Please check that you're able to see the same issue in that project, save the proejct and export a DRP fie.

Second, from the Help menu, please select Create Diagnostic logs on Desktop and get the zip file.

Place these two files in a file sharing service, create a shareable link and add the link in your response.
