braw.pdv

Going back to some old raw file to consider a new edit. When jumping into the folder the files now have an ending of: (filename).braw.pdv

these files no longer import to Resolve and when I tried to remove the .pdv it does not work/import either

suggestions/ thoughts on why they are now with the .pdv (prof digital video) designation behind the .braw?

The original files were BRAW from a BMD camera?

Yes, they were originally shot on a miniURSA as .braw files

if you have saved the files on some cloud, the problem might have arisen there.

Mark may be on track. I don't believe there's anything in the Resolve work flow that would cause what you're seeing. It's more likely this was caused by something outside of Resolve.

It is a mystery as to what caused the change- but I was able to locate the original files on an old backup field drive. So all is good. Thx for the input
