I have this little question. When I playing on the color page with scopes turned on, I have a bad playback. If I put the scopes turned off, the playback is in real time like the other pages.
I'm on DaVinci 15 with Win 7. I know that Win 10 is better but now I need to stay with Win 7 just until I do one dual boot here. I have Resolve 16 installed too but I can see that 16 is not soo good with this PC with my GTX 680 (I dont have video with 16 on timeline). But on the notebook Resolve 16 is good with Win 7 (curious...).
But backing to the Resolve 15. Can you help me with one light about this scopes on Resolve 15 vs Playback? Why does it happen?
I believe 15 has a preference, "use GPU for scopes". Uncheck that option and see if it helps with playback. Beyond that, it's a question of your system resources. Displaying scopes in real-time costs processing power, and playback is more demanding on the Color page, than Edit.
