Resolve Speed Editor

Hi, this is my first post and I hope I can get help. I purchased the speed editor with software from Amazon. I have it connected via USB type-C 3.0/Thunmderbolt.

It does not power on and is not discovered within the program. I have the latest release of Resolve as of 6/06/21. Resolve was able to discover the editor and the red lights illuminated above the wheel, but after it installed the firmware I waited a couple of hours for the editor panel to charge. Now no matter what I do, it does not power on. I have tried both USB Type C's, the front header port on my motherboard as well as the back i/o. In addition, I tried a USB to type C to USB cable to no avail.

Check you have the DaVinci Resolve Panels Setup application installed, from the Resolve installer, and with that installed, run it with a USB cable connection and check the Speed Editor is found.. then select the icon under the image to perform an update.

Then restart Resolve and check to see if the SE is found.
Once thats done you can check the bluetooth operation if you wish to use Bluetooth

Thanks for the response. Resolve Panels is installed. Still not recognized. I even switched back to the USB Type-C to Type-C cable included with the panel. I notice that the red LED light(s) on the keys labeled shuttle, jog, and scroll do not light up.

Should I send it back to Amazon?

Can the OS see the panel on the usb connection?
