Greetings, I have a "weird" question, I am getting sound when I am in the Fairlight page, but nowhere else. Nothing in the EDIT or in the PREVIEW window. Running from a MacBook Pro (2019) on Catalina (10.15.7) with a MOTU UltraLite mk3 interface. Thank you for your time. R
Thanks for taking the time Peter. To answer your question, I see audio in the Media page but nothing is heard. I have my speakers setup to the MOTU interface. Of note: the only way to get sound everywhere is, not to de-select, but to unplug my interface. R
In answering Renaud's question : the MOTU interface (USB2, the connector is like the ones for printers) is plugged into a RedLink USB-C Multiport Adapter, then USB-C into my Mac.
Mac OS core audio handles the connection to the MOTU.. can you check its selected in your system settings? in resolve preferences , select system setting.. and if that doesnt work, select manual and configure the two channels
The Speaker configuration in Video and Audio I/O automatically patches the Control Room Monitor Output to the physical outputs - manually patching the Bus Output is not necessary.
Any change manually patching as follows in Patch IO: Source = Control Room Monitor Direct Destination = Audio Outputs
The Direct path is pre-Monitor Level, Dim, and Mute.
Thanks for the update Reynaud, unfortunately I am still in a dead end. I assigned everything as suggested, but to no avail. Everything works as it should without the interface (sound in the Edit page and the Fairlight page), but I need to go through the interface to be able to eventually monitor in surround. R
