Issues with Deleting audio clip

PostThu Jun 24, 2021 7:08 pm

Is this normal, is there a better way?
In the edit mode I unlinked the audio from the video, selected the audio, hit the delete button on the keyboard. The program deleted the audio, it also removed the previous video clip.

No that is not normal. When either linking or unlinking make sure that nothing is selected in the timeline. If anything is highlighted it will stay linked or unlinked.

Most likely this is Operator Error. Have you completed any training for Resolve yet?

(The Beginner's Guide is a great resource for newcomers to Resolve, even if you have experience with other NLEs. ;) )

My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.

The delete key is ripple delete. Try using the backspace key
