Grouping pictures

PostSat Jun 26, 2021 4:52 pm

Hello. When you drag pictures with the name 1, 2, 3, 4, they are grouped. How can I turn it off?

Not that. When I drag several pictures onto the timeline, only one is added. It is necessary to do this so that when I add several pictures to the timeline, they are all added as separate files.

You have to change that setting before you import the pictures to a bin.

All the same, it is dragged and dropped as one file.

If you select several pictures that contain a serial name (for example, 1, 2, 3, 4), then all 11 pictures are dragged onto the timeline as one. But I need it to drag and drop all the pictures as separate files.

OK.

1. Go to the Media page and open the bin that has the pictures. Delete them.
2. Go to the Media Storage panel and turn that previously mentioned setting on.
3. Using the Media Storage panel, navigate to the folder with the pictures.
4. Now you can import them individually to a bin.

I got it, I did it, but it doesn't work. I need to drag 11 pictures onto the timeline in the Edit tab so that they are added as separate files. Of course, I can add them separately, but it takes a long time.

I understand what do you mean. That need to drag pictures first to the media library, and then to the timeline. So that's how it works. But I thought mb there is some parameter that will turn off this grouping at all. So that I don't have to add pictures to the media library every time, and then to the timeline. So that I can just drag the pictures directly onto the timeline and they are added as separate files.

I can only offer this advice.

1. Use the Media Storage panel for all import operations.
2. Add to a timeline from the bins.

Two separate steps. Every time. ;)
