Rotating the viewer

PostSun Jun 27, 2021 12:46 pm

Hi,
I grade a lot of videos that has been shot vertically (9x16) for Social Media and/or digital billboards/signs.
I have an external monitor connected trough UltraStudio Monitor 3G.

If I set my timeline to 9x16 the image on the external monitor gets cropped on top/bottom (see image B) since the UltraStudio only delivers 1920x1080 so I want to physically rotate that monitor 90° to portrait mode to take advantage of as much of the screen as possible but then I can't have the timeline in vertical mode (see image C).

I can of course have my timeline in 16x9 and rotate the monitor (see image D), but it is a bit annoying to have 16x9 on my GUI and 9x16 on my external monitor + that I have to rotate the rendered videos to 9x16, so is it possible to rotate the GUI monitor to be able to have both GUI and external monitor in 9x16?

Image E is what I want :)

Ok, since no one i responding I'm assuming there is no way of doing what I want :/
It would be a really nice feature to be able to rotate the GUI monitor though, so hopefully I will be added in the future :)
