Hi BM,
I've posted several times about Resolve Live before, and never received replies.
I think the whole feature needs some love from your developer team please. There are several major improvements that would be welcomed, but I think that as it stands, there are several existing features that do not work correctly.
1. Gallery Stills - when you hover over, they show "Media Offline". You cannot currently use the wipe to put a Still side by side with the Live image.
2. Randomly, Resolve Live will sometimes not let me rename or even click on Nodes in the Color window. This does not seem to have any rational basis to it.
3. It would be of immense help for Resolve Live to remember the last node structure, as currently when you stop Live and turn it back on, the Nodes are reset
4. When using Resolve Live, sometimes it stops passing video if you switch to another program. This means that Resolve Live isn't a good solution for Livegrading because you have to keep switching focus back to Resolve to make sure the feed is good
5. These are feature requests - but I can't understand why Resolve doesn't allow live switching of Mini Monitors and Recorders - other programs can switch on the fly without restarting the whole program
6. Similarly, allowing two inputs - i.e. with a Decklink - would be incredible.
