Adjustment clips question

PostWed Jun 30, 2021 3:39 pm

Hey guys,

New to the forum and looking for some help on this subject.

Is it possible to have adjustment clips only effect one of the video tracks below it? I'm making a template that requires it to be fool proof so someone can just drop JPEGs in and export it.

My color generator is getting re-positioned along with everything else and I need it to bypass the adjustment clips somehow.

Sorry if it's a silly question but need a little guidance.

Thank you in advance!

By definition, an adjustment clip effects everything below it.

Look into Macros or Fusion Effects. Maybe these will be useful.

However many tracks you wish to apply an adjustment clip to, move them down below the tracks you don't want affected, and then place the Adjustment Clip above them. You could repeat this as many times as you need it.
Resolve Studio 20.0 build 49
