editor keyboard issues

I've just came across tis post and oh man. This dreaded editor keyboard just doesn't live up to its potential. My jog wheel doesn't even work and some of the keys sometime function sometimes just don't. Cant even return this thing anymore and a tech specialist asks me to initiate an RMA and of course, I have to pay for the damn shipping.

Dear BMD representatives, why can't an update be available for download online through your website, why? I've tried to update the editor keyboard several times through DVR Studio 17 control panels setup. and every time, the update fails.

Which OS are you on?
Have you tried 17.2.2?
Did you select customize in the installer to update the control panels app as well?

OS: Windows 10, already updated to DVR Studio 17.2.2., I do have the DaVinci Control Panels Setup app and when I open it, it does indicate that there is an update for the Editor Keyboard. Well, Once I want to update the Keyboard's software the installation fails. I check my connection which are all good and I even have extra USB-C cables and ports to make sure I have no connection problems but, the update just doesn't work at all.

Could you guys make the software update for the Editor Keyboard available on the website instead of going through DVR Studio? That would be better.
