Creating MultiTrack Audio Compound Clips is quite the process in Resolve.
Would love to talk through this workflow with a Blackmagic Engineer or someone overseeing workflow management.
1. You are not able to "Open In Timeline" several selected Compound Clips - so one by one it is multiplied by a lot of clips
2. You are not able to see Compound Clips from the Fairlight Page "navigation dropdown list" - only timelines are filtered into that list. This forces you to navigate back to the edit page, select the next open tabbed compound clip you want to see in Fairlight, then navigate back to the Fairlight page.
3. The Fairlight Preset for Bus Format is broken on compound clips. If for example your main is set to 7.1 in the Preset and your compound clip was a Main Stereo - the Preset doesn't update the Compound Clip Format. You have to navigate to Bus Format dropdown list manually and set it.
4. Unable to change timecode once a Compound Clip has been generated.
There are more hiccups/bumps in the road but those are the main challenges that add a significant amount of time to this workflow.
