Waveform monitor is huge

PostWed Jul 07, 2021 2:06 am

And my vector scope, and my parade... I had a glitch in my video card today, and the video on my second monitor went away for a quick second. When it returned, my waveform monitor (which had been on my second screen) was now on my primary display, and it's so large I can't grab the window to move it back to my second display. The weird thing is I can get to the pulldown menus the scopes hide, so I have to turn on the waveforms to see what I'm doing.

Any thoughts on how to rectify this really annoying situation?

TIA,

Jon

Been there, change the aspect ratio to 16:9 then you can grab the corner.

Good Luck

Useful tip for Windows systems: with keyboard focus set to the window you want to move you can use the keyboard combo Alt+Spacebar to open the window menu, followed by "M" to active the "Move" function. You can then move the window using the arrow keys until you get an edge into view that you can grab with the mouse. You can do this even if the top-left corner is so far off the screen that you can't even see the window menu.

If the window won't move it's probably because it's "Maximized" to fill the screen. Use Alt+Spacebar followed by "R" to "restore" the window, then Alt+Spacebar followed by "M" to move it.

Nothing worked. The scopes are so big, I can't access the menus, and it doesn't appear to be a 'floating' window.

Finally got to work - I had to restore the layout...
