I corrupted version 17.2.2

when I tried to load some 3rd party Titles; I lost all titles as seen from the Edit page. So if I uninstall and then reinstall, are there any precautions I need to take before doing so? Do I need to deactivate my license first? Thanks for any input.

You don't need to deactivate before doing a reinstall.

You should back things up in case the process goes sideways.
